Reema Sahota

About me

My name is Reema Sahota and I identify myself as a British Punjabi female artist. A 22 year old student currently studying an undergraduate degree in Fine Art and working towards a Masters in Art Therapy. The concepts behind my work gravitate around my identity, community, culture, family, self-awareness and experiences. The mediums I work with differ as I enjoy working both in a physical manner such as using oil paint, acrylic paint as well as undertaking experimental media such as digital work, installation and projection. I am an ethnic female artist who has found their voice and I aim to encourage the younger generation who are especially from ethnic backgrounds to strive towards their passions and this includes the arts.
